When we first called the number, we spoke to a gentleman that gave us a quote for two men to come out and move everything over the course of about three to four hours for a two-bedroom apartment ($105/hr + $75 for travel). The next day, the men showed up three hours late, and while there were three of them, they still took about three to four hours to move everything. When we got to our new place, they decided they were going to charge $135/hr +$95 for travel, due to there being THREE men present, and tried to justify it by saying they would still be at our previous place moving everything if they hadn't brought the extra person.
I will say, the men actually moving the furniture were very nice and generally respectful with our belongings. We aren't sure if they were in charge of how much they charged us, but do not call them unless you have extra cash in hand because they WILL overcharge you at the site, AFTER they've already moved everything.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If you care about your furniture do not trust them. They damaged my very expensive furniture while moving it even though their site specifically states they specialize in moving such items. They did not offer an apology and the movers were actually very insulting. The owner, Tony, did what equaled to nothing about my complaints. The movers that came to my house were careless with my furniture and wanted me to tip them on the side. The whole experience was quite awful and unbelievable. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
The name of this place should be called KnightMARE Movers! They damaged my antiques. Scratched one piece and took a large piece of wood out of another. Movers were hostile, aggressive and tried to get me to pay them cash and not tell the owner. The owner Tony took zero responsibility for the damage or his employees. He never even called me back. Once I called him again he started quoting Fl. Statues. Typical move from a crook trying to get off the hook!! Like I said, a nightmare!!!
I contacted Knight Movers with only 48 hours notice of my move date, and they accommodated my exact requested time (on a Sunday). Jimmy and Ryan were the crew assigned to my move. They were prompt, professional, fast and efficient! They took great care of my furniture and belongings, and completed the job in a quarter of the time it would have taken me to do it. Can’t say enough good things about my experience with this crew and Knight Movers as a whole. This was the third time I’ve hired them over the years, and they never disappoint! Great company, with outstanding management and employees!
Knight movers did a great job! Very professional and knowledgeable about how to move and navigate furniture. They were organized and were conscientious about working hard and not taking any more time than necessary. I would definitely use them again!
